This policy explains what information Chrome Roads, Inc. (“Chrome Roads”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.chromeroads.com, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Chrome Roads products and services are covered by the agreements we make with our customers.
Information we collect
Information you send us
This site has no forms or accounts. If you email us, for example to request a demonstration or schedule a meeting, we receive your email address, your name if you include it and anything you write.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (such as country or city, estimated from your IP address). Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart. Its script is delivered through our own domain. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.
Technical information
When you load a page, our hosting provider receives your IP address and basic browser information. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Content from other services
- Google Fonts. Our fonts load from Google, which receives your IP address.
- YouTube. Our videos play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, so watching them here does not personalize your YouTube recommendations or ads. The video on our homepage loads YouTube’s player when the page opens; on our Videos page, a video loads only when you choose to play it. YouTube may collect information as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Links to other sites. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube and other sites take you to those sites, and their privacy policies apply there.

YouTube may set its own cookies when its player loads.
Your choices
- Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to accept or decline analytics cookies. Declining also removes existing Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them. Elsewhere, they are on by default and you can decline at any time.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we use information
- To run, secure and improve the website.
- To understand which content visitors find useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

We share information only with service providers that run parts of this website or our email for us:

How long we keep it
- Google Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
- Emails: for as long as we need them to handle your request and maintain our business relationship with you.
Legal bases for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
- Analytics cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Replying to your email: our legitimate interest in responding, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- Running and securing the website: our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent. To make a request, email info@chromeroads.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
International visitors
We are based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information. No website or internet transmission is completely secure.
